The inaugural meeting to form the Victorian Chemists Golf Club was held at the Victorian Pharmacy College in 1946. The purpose of the club was to promote the fellowship of pharmacists enjoying a game of golf and other athletic sports and pastimes.

Competitions usually occur on a monthly basis and the club enjoys the use of the premier golf courses in Melbourne and surrounds including:

          • Spring Valley
          • The National
          • Barwon Heads
          • 13th Beach 

Our final event of each year is a 2 day event played at Barwon Heads and 13th Beach where Phil's Cup is contested.  Many members turn this into a 4 day event by playing the South West Challenge played at Warnambool and Port Fairy An annual Carnival is held between the qualifying members of all Australian chemist golf clubs.

Interested in becoming a member?

Full Membership of Victorian Chemist Golf Club Inc. is open to all pharmacist golfers or persons directly associated with the pharmaceutical industry.

Provisional Membership of Victorian Chemist Golf Club is offered to those interested persons not strictly within the industry, but who have attended at least 3 events in the previous 2 years as a guest of a full member of Victorian Chemist Golf Club Inc.

All prospective members applications must be nominated and seconded by current financial full members of Victorian Chemist Golf and are subject to approval by the Committee.
